1) Title: The Nest💫

Author: Robert Zacks

Characters: Jimmy, Paul, Mrs. Swanson, Jimmy and Paul's friends, friend's parents.

Exposition: Jimmy a 14-year-old boy wants to go on a hike with his best friend Paul
 
Conflict:  But his mother, Mrs. Swanson won't allow him to go as she thinks Paul is a bad influence on Jimmy.

Rising Actions: Jimmy argues with his mother trying to explain that Paul is a good friend and runs away from his house to go and meet Paul at a drug store. After meeting Paul, Jimmy asks Paul where the other friends were, but Paul told Jimmy that they didn't came as their parents didn't allow them to. 

Climax: All the parents thinks that Paul is a very bad influences on their children because Paul once went to a reform school, but Jimmy however still went on the hike with the hike without his mother's approval.

Falling Actions: After going on the hike, Jimmy brings Paul home for supper.

Resolutions: After meeting Paul, Mrs. Swanson finally realize that she was wrong about Paul and Jimmy was wright about Paul.

 2) Title: The Red Sweater💖

Author: Mark Hager

Characters: 14-year-old boy, Mr. Conway, Mr. Gentile, the boy with the sweater, mother.

Exposition: A 14-years-old boy takes Mr. Conway's old shoe to Mr. Gentile's shoe shop to get them mended as they were too old.

Conflict: While the boy waits for the old shoe, he noticed a boy wearing red sweater and he eyed on the sweater. 

Rising Actions: He asks the boy where he got the sweater from and the cost, but he didn't have enough money, so he asked his mother. 

Climax: After buying the sweater, he takes the old shoe to Mr. Gentiles shoe shop but was told that the shoe cannot be mended anymore. 

Falling Actions: So, he exchanged his new red sweater with a new pair of shoes for $4.25.

Resolution:  The old man knew what happened and he sold one of his favorite puppies to buy the boy a new red sweater. Lastly, the boy gets the red sweater, and the old man gets the new shoes.
